* Farm tours are strongly suggested to gauge the size, temperament, and color of each animal
* The cow will be the responsibility of the party in possession of the animal. For example, if the purchase has ended, you’ve paid for your animal, and something tragic happens, Cyrus Ridge Farm would be responsible for that animal and give you a full refund. However, if the animal suffered injury, illness, or death after it was delivered, it would be your responsibility and no refund would be given. Same rules apply to any cause of death whether natural, super-natural, or non-natural.
* Cyrus Ridge Farm makes no claims or guarantees as to the mature height of this animal. While we can all make an educated guess based on averages of parents, anyone who tells you they can accurately predict the mature height of a calf is either naive or lying.
Payment
* There is no buyer’s premium or tax added to your purchase. The price you purchase is price you pay. A 3% charge is added to credit card payments.
* A deposit of 45% is required immediately following the purchase. Payment can be accepted via credit card, Zelle, PayPal and E-transfer. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance will be due at pickup or before delivery. Your credit card on file will be charged the deposit amount if your invoice has not been paid. A 3% charge is added to credit card payments.
* Your purchase is sealed with a legally binding contract. This is for the buyers who like to shop with their friend Mr. Daniels (Jack) and then conveniently forget about the purchase when Mr. Daniels is no longer around.
Farm Tours
* A farm tour gives you chance to see the inside operations of our farm, hand feed the adult cows, meet and greet all the calves, and ask any questions you would like about our program. This is not a free tour, but we try to keep the cost reasonable so everyone can enjoy their experience.
* Cows are identified by the ear tag and name
* Farm tours are highly recommended so you can make your own determination of quality, size, condition, weight, and all the other variables that are difficult to convey in a photo, but irrespective what we show you on picture is a very healthy calve, as we want the best for our customers.
Pickup
* All animals listed can be scheduled for pickup or delivery within 14 days following the purchase. After 14 days, a fee of $10 / per day applies. They are welcome to hang out here as long as you’d like.
* Any calves that are not weaned will be scheduled once available.
* Any cattle not claimed, will remain the property of Cyrus Ridge Farm
* Please bring proper equipment to transport your cow. She ain’t gonna ride in the back of your boyfriend’s mom’s Pinto.
Delivery
* Delivery cost is easy to calculate. Current prices run $1.50 / mile. Up to 6 calves can be delivered for this price
* We try our best to coordinate multiple deliveries on a route to help share that cost with other buyers, but we can’t guarantee that will be the case.
* Of course, you’re always welcome to pick up your calf here at the farm or hire a 3rd party shipper. Use caution with a 3rd party shipper, as we’ve had some really poor experiences with them. Some are awesome, tho.
